it is an unfortunate disadvantage of being a witch that a man's thing immediately shrinks when you set eyes on it

   One day...
my daughter rebels against my anti-fairy tale bias. I had refused to introduce her to this brutal and primitive literature out of concern for her delicate sensibilities. I did not wish to transmit to my innocent child the violence and gender bias wrapped up in many of the traditional tales. Despite my efforts, my daughter announces that she has written one of her own.
